We are passionate about dressage across Prince Edward Island. Our goal is to foster a love of the sport by supporting opportunities for Islanders to be involved as athletes, breeders, organizers, volunteers, officials, and fans!

How can we help dressage on the island?

Grassroots Competitions

Dressage PEI Introductory shows are provincially sanctioned as part of IHC's Abegweit Series. Results count toward provincial year end awards along with other Abeqweit shows held throughout the province. There are so many opportunities to earn points from tip to tip!

Sport Builders

In an effort to support the hardworking organizers and builders of dressage sport throughout the province, DPEI is offering financial support to anyone hosting dressage competitions that are provincially or nationally sanctioned in 2025. Reach out to us directly for details.

National Competition

The DPEI Gold/Bronze competition in August is nationally sanctioned through Equestrian Canada with an EC Senior judge. We are proud to consistently welcome quality riders and horses - many of whom are produced right here in PEI! Our riders are some of the top performing athletes nationwide.

Athlete Development

We want to help athletes reach their goals in training! In 2025, we welcome Olympian Tom Dvorak for our first High Performance Athlete Development clinic.
